Boise
State University Science Competition—Congratulations
to the students of Boise High that competed in the Boise
State University Science Competition on Feb. 3rd, 2007.
Boise High was the overall winner of the
competition.
Individual
results:
Kyle
Antonini-- 1st in Math, 1st in Physics, 2nd in
Engineering, and 1st place overall. He was awarded an
$18,000 scholarship to BSU.
Nick
Huang--2nd place overall and received and $18,000
scholarship to BSU.
Team

Jazz Ensemble will
play at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival at the
University
of
Idaho
, Saturday, February
24. We will
compete against other high school jazz bands for the
opportunity to play in the Kibbie Dome Saturday evening
and
will have the opportunity to hear outstanding jazz artists
from throughout the world! We
(and all of the groups) prepare 6 pieces, from which will
be selected our 3 to be performed. –Mr.

Basketball --On Tuesday, the Lady Braves lost a
nail-biter of a game to
Centennial
High School
in the district semi-final. The Patriots jumped out
to a 20-10 first quarter lead however the Braves fought
back and pulled it to a four point game at halftime.
The third quarter was played fairly even between the two
SIC rivals, but in the fourth the Patriots pulled away by
eleven points, what many believed to be for good.
However, the rowdy Brave Faithful encouraged the ladies to
keep fighting and an impressive comeback in the last
